Ever wanted to be in a rock band? Me too. So me and my old college roomies did just that. None of us really knew how. We just sorta did. This is that project. The combination of some really talented guys, and myself.

And now for something completely different.

Something has changed within me Something is not the same I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game Too late for second guessing Too late to go back to sleep It's time to trust my instincts Close my eyes and leap It's time to try defying gravity I think I'll try defying gravity Kiss me goodbye, defying gravity You can't pull me down I'm through accepting limits Cause someone says they're so Some things I'll never change But till I try I'll never know For too long I've been afraid of Losing love I guess I've lost Well, if that's love, it comes at much too high a cost I'd sooner buy defying gravity I think I'll try defying gravity Kiss me goodbye, I'm defying gravity And you can't pull me down

Difference 03:39
Hey, where did everybody go? Busy livin' life "just so" And end up dyin' all alone Hey, I know things aren't ideal Sick of facing all the real It's hard enough to follow what you feel Sitting idle doesn't get things done If there's ever been a chance to rise above and make a difference We can make it, let's take it It life with passion's what you want It's nice to know you're not the only one We can make it, let's take it They tell you what they want to hear Forget the truth they're preachin' fear They say the end is drawing near They got their notions preconceived But is that really what we need Distractions keeping us from chasing all our dreams Sitting Idle doesn't get things done If there's ever been a chance...

Left Me 03:20
It's strange how a song could say what I couldn't Words trip over tongues on the way Took a good friend to visit and mention your name To send me straight back to the day... You left me Months fell into years with the coming of springs I fought with the coldest of hearts Head-first into the seasons, your voice became distant The butterflies and bitterness They left me And time has a way of taking its own sweet self Then the next thing you know I'm putting your love on the shelf Now all of those things that name used to mean Are merely an echo now Those feelings died when I died Like the part of me that once held you They left me

Come Drive 03:57
It's cold and dark in Tennessee You're waiting for some light to shine Well baby, same with me I care not for what I do or what I see Fear has guided me into complacency So come on, tell me Come drive with me If we stay this rain could last all day Or we could ride away until it's clear Come drive with me With you I swear this car is growing wings Come fly Come drive I know you're cold and lonely too Hope for lack of gray on better days Is helping pull you through The search for truth, it's nothing new But it all seems so damn findable When it's just me and you Come drive with me... They'll all say that we lost our minds While they're busy wasting theirs away We'll crash down in the deep blue sea Climb the mountains, storm the trees We'll find our souls anywhere but here Come drive with me... Come fly

Stuck inside this melee You wanna throw it all away Just to see what you'd be If you could let yourself go free Don't let 'em kick you around Once you're up they wanna knock you down Darling please you're staring down the sun But you won't look away The weight of the world ain't just on one girl So let it go child Sometimes you're going nowhere You're doin' all the things you think you gotta say, but Everybody's got their way with you You can have your way with them The weight of the world

about

This was a labor of love for my bandmates: Vince Romanelli, Michael Shoup, and I. Self-produced in a basement and any studio our friends would lend us in the wee hours of any night they had available. We liked how it turned out. We hope you do too.
